Locally drive corporate strategic material initiative with focus on innovation, quality, delivery, price and sourcing to address Wolverine corporate responsibility, product creation and supply chain needs. Act as the functional lead for material category and provide work direction, coaching and mentoring for material coordinator positions.


  1. Leading overall non-leather material management i.e. vendor management/Material Library Management: PLM system & Material Library & material consolidation.
  2. Supporting Headquarter and follow leadership's direction in Asia.
  3. Carry developments of new material requests interacting with Wolverine and vendor.
  4. Leading price of material adjustment negotiation and communication between vendor and Brands.     
  5. Support Materials Commercialization process, interacting with suppliers, shoe manufacturers and Asia PD for quality review and feedback, manages specs and communicate with Brand for override approval if requires.    
  6. Lead development of material innovation capabilities and material trend research for the organization cross all Brands and Leadership.
  7. Textile/Synthetic material/Accessary PDM data entry, support price to meet the requirements.
  8. Other duties as assigned by Manager.


  1. Colleague degree in Non Leather Material/Footwear field preferred and 6-10 years experiences.
  2. Fluency in English communication skill.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong Excel, basic database understanding
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Can work independently and under a heavy pressure.
  6. Systems knowledge (PDM/PLM) experienced.
